Almond Flour Blueberry Chocolate Chip Muffins

Grain-free, dairy-free, deliciousness!


1 mashed banana

1/2 cup of peanut butter (peanuts and salt only)

3 eggs

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 cup applesauce (These muffins are not sweet- If you want the muffins to be a bit sweeter you can swap in maple syrup or honey)

1 cup almond flour

1 scoop of protein powder of choice

1 tsp. baking powder

DF chocolate chips


Dash of salt and cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Combine wet ingredients (1 banana, 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract , 1/4 cup applesauce)

  3. Combine dry ingredients: (1 cup almond flour, 1 scoop of protein powder of choice, 1 tsp. baking powder, dash of salt and cinnamon)

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients together

  5. Add chocolate chips and blueberries to your preference

  6. Line muffin containers with muffin liners (I use if you care brand, unbleached). This makes things SOO much easier later- to get the muffins out in one piece and for cleaning).

  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and test stick comes out clear.

  8. Once removed from oven allow muffins to cool a bit.

  9. Enjoy! I topped with little coconut yogurt, cinnamon, and blueberries.
