My Story

Hi, I'm so glad you're here!

A little bit about me- I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Simmons College in Boston. Upon completion of my bachelor’s degree, I went on to complete my dietetic internship and earn a Master’s degree in Nutrition. During this time, I was able to gain experience working in a variety of different settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and public school systems.

After completion of my masters degree, I completed additional training in holistic and functional medicine and digestive wellness working as an outpatient dietitian specializing in treating GI conditions such as IBS, IBD, and SIBO/SIFO.

My interest in Nutrition stems from my active lifestyle and realization that what we put in our body has a profound effect on our health. After suffering for too long with bowel irregularity, bloating, and recurrent mouth ulcers I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. With limited progress from conventional GI treatments I knew there must be other solutions. Doing research on my own to find answers led me to integrative and functional nutrition, a philosophy that aims to uncover the root cause of disease. It has become my passion to help others suffering who are left with nowhere to turn. I am now medication free and dedicated to a living a healthy lifestyle that keeps me feeling my best!

Now I am focused on using my knowledge to help those dealing with gut dysfunction, auto-immune disease, and woman’s health and hormonal imbalances. I believe that through the correct holistic and alternative therapies, we can uncover the root cause of dis-ease to help my clients heal and achieve long-term wellness!
