Banana "Snickers" Bars

If you love snickers.. these are for you! A healthier alternative made with Whole Foods, what's better than that. I keep these in the freezer for a quick treat. My kiddos love them too!





Recipe:

10 small/medium dates (soak in warm water for about an hour)

2 tbsp date water

1/4 cup of almond butter (nuts and salt only)

2 scoops of collagen peptides

1 tbsp of acacia fiber (optional)

4-5 bananas

1 cup of chopped nuts of choice

Chocolate of choice


Directions:

1. slice bananas, cut long ways down the middle and then in half (hot dog style)

2. Blend dates, water, almond butter, collagen peptides, and acacia fiber in food processor until a thick paste is formed. If your paste is super thick and does not spread can add more water.

2. Spread date paste onto banana slices

3. Chop nuts of choice I used cashews and pecans and sprinkle over bananas

4. Place in freezer for half hour

5. Melt chocolate of choice

6. Remove bananas from freezer and use spoon to coat bananas with chocolate

6. Top with a little flake sea salt (optional)

7. Place back in freezer for another couple hours. I Used @evolvedchocolate but you can use chocolate of your choice!
